How to get RSSI value by reading the XBee DB parameter value?

0 votes
In the documentation about "Signal strength and the RSSI pin" it is said the RSSI value can be obtained either as a PWM value on pin 6 or by reading the DB parameter value.
I have a difficulty with both approaches:
- the oscilloscope is not getting any PWM signal on pin 6
- I do not know how to read the DB parameter value.
Can you help me to get a way to evaluate the signal strength?
Thanks!

I would suggest using the ATDB command.

+++
ok
ATDB <CR>
Value
ok

The response will be in Hex values and in a Negative DB value.
